Julie joined LPM Attorneys in 2024 as a Candidate Attorney and was soon involved with assisting the compliance department with the Firm’s KYC and FICA requirements. After her admission in 2026, she remains responsible for assisting the firm and clients to detangle the complex requirements of today's compliance environment.
Julie wants to use law to make a positive impact on her community and to foster continuous learning. Following in her mother’s footsteps, she chose a legal career that allows her to assist others and grow with the evolving nature of the profession. She completed degrees in BA Law and LLB at the University of Pretoria, exploring fields like Psychology and Criminology. With an ever-shrinking world she also developed an interest in Public International Law and International Humanitarian Law”.
In her free time, she enjoys hiking, spending time with family and friends, and participating in outreach activities
