Johann Pistorius

Johann is a director and head of the Litigation Department. 

Born and raised in Brits, Johann has been at Langenhoven Pistorius Attorneys since 1996, and he is the main drive behind building the firm, especially the Litigation Department, into a force to be reckoned with.

Johann is very knowledgeable about legal principles and applicable law, and how to apply these to specific cases. With his strong ethics and moral character, together with his passion for the law, Johann looks to unravel the intricacies of any dispute for the best possible answer when protecting his clients’ interests. Never starting a case without fully researching the background and establishing a strong legal base, Johann is an out-of-the-box thinker. His strategic approach to matters gives his clients an additional advantage in dispute resolution. He is also resolute in negotiations on behalf of clients and approaches a case from all angles, looking for the best solution. Johann does not approach a case without the understanding of legal principles and applicable law. 

He believes in the involvement and support of local businesses and local community. Johann, married to Annaschka Human, another attorney at the firm, loves spending time with his two children, and relaxing around braaivleis fire with friends in the Bosveld.
